T2-04 Radiator G-Envelope Discipline

TIER 2 HARD NOT STARTED

Transit to navigation buoy NAV-BUOY-BETA (+150m Z) while observing structural load limits. Retract deployed radiator before executing high-thrust translation.

Pass Criteria & Flight Boundaries

  • Retract radiator, transit to NAV-BUOY-BETA at [0, 0, 150] m, and stationkeep within 5.0 m (speed <= 0.2 m/s) for 3.0s
  • Flight envelope limit: Max 60s
  • Monopropellant reserve: Maintain at least 20.0 kg

Mission Instructions

1. Structural G-Load Envelope

Deployed thermal radiator wings are lightweight cantilevered trusses. High angular velocities or aggressive thruster firings while radiators are extended induce cantilevered bending moments that will shear the booms and cause permanent hardware loss (DESTROYED).

2. Retract-Stabilize-Redeploy Sequence

Your spacecraft is experiencing a high-rate tumble with radiator panels exposed:

  • Immediate Retraction: Command {"radiator_cmd": {"state": "RETRACTED"}} immediately to protect the radiator trusses before executing high-torque maneuvers.
  • High-Rate Detumble: Arrest pitch, yaw, and roll rates below 0.30 deg/s using RCS couples and reaction wheels.
  • Thermal Recovery: Once angular rates are safely damped, redeploy the radiators (DEPLOYED) to cool core temperature below 345.0 K for 3.0 seconds.

3. Prompt Your Autonomous Agent

Prompt Antigravity to coordinate structural protection with attitude recovery:

Antigravity Prompt
Read /api/specs/hardware/radiator to check structural angular rate and acceleration limits.
Update our flight computer for mission T2-04:
1. Retract radiator panels immediately when high angular rates are detected.
2. Arrest the spacecraft tumble below 0.30 deg/s.
3. Redeploy the radiator panels once stable and cool the core below 345.0 K for 3.0 seconds.
